What is Co-op?

Co-operative Education (Co-op) is a structured academic program that allows you to integrate paid, technical, career-related work experience in industry, while completing your degree. During your time in the program, you will alternate between completing study terms on campus with work terms spent working in your field, gaining hands-on skills and knowledge relevant to your studies and career goals, while developing a professional network of industry contacts and a greater understanding of both the workplace and the job market.

Students who complete all co-op program requirements will graduate with co-op designation on their degree parchment. This means you graduate with both a degree and valuable work experience, helping to kick start your career.

Why Join Co-op?
