Funding

All UBC Applied Science Co-op work terms are paid learning experiences.

If you have a position but do not have the necessary funding to pay a student, there may be assistance available.

Overview

SWPP+ provides post-secondary students with work opportunities related to their field of study and offers them the opportunity to use their academic knowledge in the workplace. Funding from SWPP+ ensures employers of all sizes have an opportunity to engage the next generation and build a talent pipeline for the future.

Funding is limited and administered on a first-come, first-served basis wherein completed applications are prioritized in the order they are received and approved based on eligibility requirements of that terms. For more information, please visit the SWPP+ Employer Funding website.
